What to wear for Zuma Rome in Rome? Dress Code for men and women

Zuma Rome is an exceptional rooftop restaurant and bar that exceeded our expectations during our recent holiday trip. We were thrilled to experience the creation of talented chef Rainer Becker, who first opened this stunning restaurant in London in 2002. Now, Zuma can be found in several cities around the world, including Rome since 2016. Located atop the iconic Palazzo Fendi, Zuma Rome spans two entire floors, boasting a stylish indoor restaurant and a beautiful rooftop terrace.

The beautiful terrace was the highlight of our visit. Equipped with comfortable dining tables and surrounded by greenery, the ambiance was truly sublime. The striking views overlooking the Eternal City, specifically the Trinità dei Monti, were breathtaking. We could not take our eyes off the stunning view.

Zuma Rome is without a doubt one of the trendiest and most in-demand venues in Rome. It serves modern Japanese cuisine that is authentic but not traditional, which is divided into three kitchens: the main kitchen, the sushi counter, and the robata grill. The dishes are served izakaya-style, making them perfect for sharing with friends. We enjoyed every dish we ordered and were blown away by the exceptional flavor and presentation.

The Zuma lounge and bar, which boasts a fine selection of carefully mixed cocktails, was another highlight of our visit. The setting and atmosphere were hot and trendy, attracting the fashionista crowd and jet-setter travelers to enjoy good life and great views.

We visited Zuma Rome for both lunch and dinner during our stay, and we highly recommend making a reservation for the nightly visits. While lunchtime visits may allow for walk-in dining, reserving your table ahead of time is always a wise decision. The opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays are from 12.00 – 02.00, and the address is Via della Fontanella di Borghese, 48, 00186 Rome.
