My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of visiting Terrace on 7 during a recent business trip to New York. Located at the luxurious Dominick Hotel, we were greeted with stunning views of the Manhattan skyline and an inviting atmosphere that was both chic and trendy. The lush rooftop greenery and comfortable lounge sofas made for a relaxing setting that allowed us to take in the views of the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline in style.
The indoor-outdoor restaurant and bar was beautifully set by the blue Italian mosaic-lined pool, and the seasonal pool terrace was closely connected with El Ta’Koy bar and restaurant. Chef Luis Pous delivered a modern Asian-Hawaiian gastronomic experience that transported us to the shores of Hawaii. The cocktails were equally fun and decadent, including the signature ‘Queen’s Bath’ and a spicy take on a classic espresso martini.
As non-hotel guests, we were thrilled to reserve exclusive cabanas for the day to gain access to the pool. The experience was truly one-of-a-kind, and we couldn’t have asked for better service. The pool was the perfect temperature and we were able to relax and unwind in the sun. The opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays were from 09.00 – 23.00, which gave us plenty of time to enjoy the atmosphere and soak up the sun.
Overall, Terrace on 7 was the perfect oasis in the middle of the concrete jungle. My boyfriend and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a chic and relaxing escape in the heart of SoHo.
