My girlfriend and I recently visited Encaramada Rooftop bar at TRYP by Wyndham Mall of Asia Manila in Pasay, and I must say, it was an experience worth cherishing. The ambience of the place is what caught my eye at first. Situated by Manila Bay, the stunning view from the rooftop terrace was breathtaking. What was even more impressive was that the rooftop offered a 360° view of the city and water, making the sunset hour even more magical. The cool and open-air feel, along with the comfy loungers and dining tables, created a perfect spot for a romantic night high above Manila.
As for the drinks, Encaramada rooftop bar served a wide range of beverages, from refreshing cocktails to craft beers, sparkling wine, spirits, and chilled juices. My girlfriend and I ordered the refreshing cocktail of the day, and I must say, it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The food was just as amazing. We indulged in both hot and cold Spanish tapas, and our favorite was the Calamari a la Plancha, Quattro Formaggio Pizza, and Prosciutto Mushroom Arugula. Although the rooftop was open only on Wednesdays to Saturdays, we were able to visit Milagritos, an all-day indoor-alfresco restaurant found on the 3rd floor of the hotel.
Encaramada Rooftop is one of the best places to visit in Manila. The view of the sunset over the bay is something that cannot be expressed in words. Every moment spent here is worth it. There’s nothing like enjoying delicious tapas, drinks, and nights with your loved ones under the taverna lights.
