My best friends and I recently visited Skyflower, and we were blown away by its lush and open-air rooftop oasis with jaw-dropping views. Located on the rooftop of the Garden Theatre at College and Spadina, Skyflower started as a popular rooftop pop-up during 2020, and after an expanded return in 2021, we can all hope for much more of the same during years to come.

The decor of the rooftop bar is simple yet beautiful, with flowers and wooden decor that transport you to a different world. The magnificent views over the Toronto skyline and CN Tower add to the ambiance and make this a must-visit spot. One of my friends even commented that the view was so mesmerizing that he felt like he was in a different city.

Run by MasterChef Canada’s first winner Eric Chong, Skyflower serves elevated comfort food that mixes Asian flavours with barbecue classics. We had the pleasure of sampling some of the dishes, and they were nothing short of amazing. From the juicy Deluxe Meltdown Burger to the Fried Chicken with Korean Soy Glaze, everything was cooked to perfection.

The rooftop drink menu holds several refreshing and crafted signature cocktails, which you can order as pitchers to share. There is also bottle service. We highly recommend the crafted signature cocktails as they were absolutely delightful and refreshing, and the perfect complement to the amazing food.

Skyflower is a perfect and lush escape to enjoy sunny hours of food and drinks, but it is also a cool destination at night, when colourful mood lighting changes the patio’s atmosphere.
