My best friends and I visited the Pod 39 Hotel rooftop bar NYC and we were blown away by the stunning view of New York City! The view of the skyscrapers was breathtaking and the rooftop had a really cool 1800’s setting with brick arches, ivy walls and cosy lanterns glowing in the night. We loved the Mexican-inspired bites and fresh cocktails served at the rooftop bar. The classic Margarita was our favorite and we also enjoyed the tiki inspired cocktails.
The Empellón Al Pastor Rooftop was run by Empellón Al Pastor and the full and year-round Mexican-inspired restaurant in the lobby of the hotel was a bonus. Although the rooftop is only open seasonally, it was perfect for some after-work and evening cocktails. We did have to wait a bit to get up to the rooftop bar as it is a popular place, especially among the younger crowd, but the views and charming settings made it well worth the wait.
The Pod 39 Rooftop dress code is smart casual, but more in a stylish than strict way. We dressed in well-fitted clothes that we were comfortable in and we felt at home in the large and trendy crowd.
