The Ivy Spinningfields in Manchester truly exceeded our expectations during our recent holiday trip. My friends and I were absolutely blown away by the beauty and tastefulness of this multi-faceted venue. The ground floor Ivy Brasserie was a delight, offering both British and European classics that were simply divine. However, it was on the first floor that we discovered the hidden gem that is Ivy Asia. The true pièce de résistance, however, was undoubtedly the Ivy Roof Garden on the very top floor.

The rooftop garden was simply breathtaking, and we all agreed that the space truly deserved its ‘garden’ epithet. It was more than just an open-air terrace, as it was equipped with both comfy dining seats and lounge areas. The retractable glass roof was a stroke of genius, ensuring that the space can stay open year-round, come rain or shine. The lush and colorful garden provided a vibrant and fun atmosphere, which was often highlighted by live music.

The Ivy Roof Garden offered a diverse set of menus, which can be enjoyed as a lunch, à la carte dinner or weekend brunch. The contemporary British food selection was an absolute delight, and we were impressed by the wide range of vegetarian and vegan options. The rooftop bar served a wide range of great drinks, including some classic cocktails favorites with a twist, new creations, a large selection of Gin & Tonics and a very impressive wine list.

Overall, we would highly recommend The Ivy Spinningfields to anyone visiting Manchester. Not only is it a great venue for pretty much all occasions, but it also comes with a very impressive and imposing atmosphere. We also discovered that the rooftop holds a beautiful section called The Skylight Terrace, which can be reserved for private events for up to 50 guests. If you’re looking for a sophisticated and smart setting, with a touch of natural beauty, then the Ivy Spinningfields is the place for you.
