As we walked into the contemporary setting, we were immediately impressed by the multi-level terrace that provides panoramic views of the Colombo skyline. The uninterrupted ocean vistas were spectacular, and we couldn’t help but take a moment to appreciate the beauty of our surroundings.

The menu at ON14 Rooftop Bar & Lounge is diverse, and we had a hard time choosing from the wide range of local and international cuisine. We finally settled on pizza and pasta, which were absolutely delicious. We also ordered creative signature cocktails, which were the perfect complement to our meal. The bar also serves all the ‘regulars’ of beer, wine, champagne and spirits.

My sister particularly loved the poolside atmosphere and the relaxing vibes of the lounge. She suggested that we should have gone for happy hour sunset cocktails, which is a must-try on our next visit. We were pleased to find out that the rooftop bar is open daily and till late at night, meaning that we could visit anytime.

The inhouse DJ kept things lively, and we thoroughly enjoyed the themed parties that the rooftop bar occasionally hosts. It was the perfect way to end our evening.

We also had a chance to visit the amazing rooftop infinity pool, which is right next to the rooftop bar. We swam while enjoying the sense of being above and in the ocean at the same time. It was an unforgettable experience.
