16ROOF is a magnificent rooftop bar that truly offers an unforgettable experience. My best friends and I recently visited this happening terrace bar and restaurant, perched on top of the superb Swissotel The Bosphorus Istanbul, and we were blown away by the culinary arts and the vibrant atmosphere high up above the Bosphorus.
As soon as we stepped onto the lower levels of the terrace, we were greeted by stylish dining tables of different sizes, and the view over the Bosphoren and the Asian part of the city on the other side of the water was truly breathtaking. We were also able to see down to the Besiktas soccer team home arena, which was a great sight to see.
We made our way up to the top level lounge, where we were met with standing tables and a really cool bar in the middle. The great international food was a highlight for us, especially the sushi, pasta and the large selection from the grill. We were also impressed by the really impressive wine menu, and the ‘Sky Menu’, which included well-crafted signature cocktails, martini’s, smoked cocktails, and a wide range of beers, cigars and shisha.
The atmosphere at 16ROOF was vibrant and trendy, making it the perfect Istanbul rooftop bar for lounge cocktails and fun dinners all days of the week. However, on weekends, the party atmosphere really takes off with live music and DJ sessions all night long. We had so much fun dancing and enjoying the music!
During summer, this is the place to be, so we made sure to come early or make a reservation to guarantee a spot. We highly recommend paying a visit to 16ROOF, it truly exceeded our expectations.
