As for the food and drinks, we were left speechless. The tapas menu from the award-winning AURUM Restaurant on the 7th floor of the hotel was nothing short of exquisite. The signature cocktails were fun, trendy and edgy, just like the ambiance on the rooftop.
We were impressed by the impressive selection of wines and the exclusive Moët Mini Machine, which allowed us to indulge in French savoir-faire with golden sippers. We found the prices to be reasonable, with the R330 entrance fee including a glass of Moët & Chandon.
My friends and I enjoyed the different experiences Alto234 had to offer, starting with the ‘Afternoon Experience’ which ran from 12.30pm to 4pm, followed by the ‘Sunset Experience’ from 4pm to 7pm, and finally the ‘Night Light Experience’ from 7pm to 11pm. The opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays were from 12.30 – 23.00.
The service was impeccable, worthy of the elevated experience that Alto234 offers. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel like royalty throughout our stay.
