During our business trip to Sofia, my boyfriend and I had the pleasure of visiting Ozone Skybar & Lounge. The contemporary and sky-high rooftop is perched on top of the Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia, located in the heart of town. As we walked through the doors, we were greeted with a modern, trendy atmosphere that was truly breathtaking.
The rooftop location on the 29th floor allowed us to take in some exceptional views. We could see all of Sofia and the nearby Vitosha Mountain from the rooftop. The setting was stylish and modern, with a mix of dining tables, comfy lounge seats and a ‘cushioned arena’. The retractable roof allowed the sun and fresh air in when the weather allowed.
The Ozone menu was impressive, offering a wide selection of bites and drinks. We enjoyed crafted signature cocktails, champagne, fine spirits, and lemonade. We also indulged in a great selection of sushi, shareables, and mains like Black Angus beef and Ozone Burger. The food was simply divine!
The upscale lounge-vibe surrounded with great music kept us entertained throughout our time there. My boyfriend was particularly impressed with the music selection, and he couldn’t help but tap his feet to the beat. The opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays are from 11.00 – 02.00, giving patrons ample time to enjoy the rooftop experience.
Although on the pricey side, Ozone Skybar & Lounge is worth every penny. The rooftop setting and views are some of the best Sofia has to offer.
