Last week, my girlfriend, parents and I visited the Hotel Atlante Star’s rooftop garden to enjoy a delightful evening with mesmerizing views of the Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica. From the cozy rooftop bar, the panoramic view across Rome was nothing short of spectacular, with the Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica as the main attractions. The setting was classic and charming, making it the perfect place for a romantic and luxurious evening.

The Les Etoiles, the fine dining restaurant, and the rooftop garden with the same name work together as a café and rooftop bar. We enjoyed cocktails, wine, and coffee throughout the day, along with light lunch between 12.30-15.00 and apertif from 18.00-21.00. The highlight of our visit was the wonderful rooftop brunch every Sunday, which we highly recommend to anyone visiting the hotel.

The roof terrace was adorned with lush vegetation, comfortable sofas, and fine umbrellas, making it an ideal spot to relax and unwind. The best time to visit was at sunset, when we first saw the eternal city glowing in a beautiful light, followed by close up views of the St. Peter’s Basilica lighting up. My girlfriend was enamored by the cozy ambiance and the breathtaking view, while my mother was impressed with the lush vegetation and comfortable seating arrangements.
