Last week, my girlfriend and I visited Adèle Mixology Lounge, a spectacular rooftop cocktail bar located on the eighth floor of the luxurious Hotel Splendide Royal. The 360° view of Rome was simply breathtaking, and we could see everything from St. Peter’s Basilica to the Vatican. My girlfriend commented on the quality of the drinks, stating that they were some of the best she had ever tasted in Rome. The service was impeccable, and the entire staff was knowledgeable and welcoming. The atmosphere was elegant yet informal, and we felt right at home.
One of the highlights of our visit was the fact that Adèle was located on top of an ancient monastery turned into a top-class hotel. We also enjoyed the fact that the lounge was open from sunset until late at night, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the view and sample the delicious cocktails.
My friend, who is a food critic, highly recommended Mirabelle, which is located one floor below Adèle Mixology Lounge. According to him, it is one of the best rooftop restaurants in Rome, serving lunch and dinner daily. The executive chef, Stefano Marzetti, creates exceptional Italian dishes using the finest local products. We have yet to try it, but it’s on our list for our next visit.
