Terrazza Aperol, a rooftop bar located right by the majestic Duomo di Milano is a must-visit location if you’re in Milan. Last week, my girlfriend, my parents, and I visited Terrazza Aperol and we were absolutely mesmerized by the close-up views of the Duomo. The terrace is so close to the Duomo that you’ll feel like you can almost touch it.

The decor of the place is simply outstanding. The bar counter is a freeze frame of a fluid suspended in the air, while the orange drop-shaped tables perfectly match the popular aperitif, Aperol Spritz. The atmosphere of the place is lively and dynamic, making it perfect for a fun evening out.

When it comes to drinks, Aperol-based creations are an obvious choice, and the Aperol Spritz is a must-have. However, there’s also a large selection of cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. To complement the drinks, we enjoyed all-day tapas and international and local dishes for lunch.

The only downside of this rooftop bar is that it’s quite popular and a bit crowded. It’s advisable to be patient and wait for a table on the terrace, as it’s definitely worth the wait. If you’re not in the mood to wait, the indoor lounge is likely easier to get a table.

My girlfriend loved the vibrant atmosphere and the Aperol experience at Terrazza Aperol. According to her, it’s a great place to hang out with friends and family. My mother couldn’t stop gushing about the stunning views of the Duomo and the friendly staff. My father loved the selection of drinks and the variety of food available.

To reach the terrace, you need to go into the Autogrill Duomo Store and head up to the second floor. Terrazza Aperol’s opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays are from 11.00 – 01.00. We highly recommend Terrazza Aperol to anyone visiting Milan. It’s one of the most beautiful and lively rooftop bars we’ve ever visited.
