My boyfriend and I recently visited the Art Deco Hotel Montana in Lucerne for a weekend getaway and stumbled upon the Montana Beach Club. It truly felt like we were transported to the beautiful Cote D’Azur in the heart of Switzerland.

The rooftop bar and beach club combination was the perfect combination for an elevated escape. The wooden decked terrace was adorned with comfortable lounges, cushions, and seating arrangements, while also featuring sand and palm trees to create a true Mediterranean vibe. The hillside location provided us with breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Lucerne and the mountains of Central Switzerland.

The Montana Beach Club was open every day from May to September (depending on the weather) and offered an array of refreshing beverages, from mixed cocktails to their signature ‘Married in a Bottle’ drinks, as well as light snacks. My boyfriend especially loved the rooftop bar and couldn’t stop raving about the rooftop pleasure year-round at the Art Deco Hotel Montana. The 10 five-star level suites at the hotel come with highly popular Jacuzzis on their own rooftops.

If you’re looking for the ultimate venue to enjoy the summer and the sun in Lucerne, the Montana Beach Club is a must-visit. And, if it gets too hot, there is a whirlpool and a rainforest shower to cool you down. We highly recommend this bougie and fancy spot for anyone looking for a luxurious and natural getaway.
