My boyfriend and I recently visited the Belair Hotel Sorrento and had the pleasure of dining at the Calypso rooftop restaurant and bar. The panoramic views over Vesuvius were absolutely breathtaking and the elegant and intimate atmosphere made for a truly special dining experience. The indoor dining room was tastefully decorated and the open-air terrace made for a romantic setting as we enjoyed our meal.
The dishes from the Sorrento tradition were creatively revisited, resulting in delicate and modern cuisine that still maintained the characteristic flavours of Italy. The service was impeccable, matching the grandeur of the views, and we felt truly pampered throughout the meal.
My boyfriend particularly enjoyed the drinks, which were expertly crafted and perfectly complemented our meal. The music added to the sophisticated ambiance, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
Calypso is the most elevated venue on the rooftop, overlooking the pool and offering some truly amazing and panoramic views. We dined for both lunch and dinner and were equally impressed with the quality of the food and service. We highly recommend Calypso to anyone visiting Sorrento and looking for an elevated dining experience.
