What to wear for Transit Rooftop Bar in Melbourne? Dress Code for men and women

Transport Rooftop Bar is an absolute must-visit for anyone looking for a luxe night out with friends. As soon as we arrived, we were blown away by the futuristic, industrial setting that exudes stylish sophistication. The views of the Melbourne skyline, Botanical Gardens and River Yarra below are absolutely breathtaking, and we couldn’t believe we were only two levels up!

The bar is located on top of the Transport Hotel, which is actually a bar and restaurant complex with plenty of other options for dining and drinking. We loved having the option to explore the other bars and restaurants before heading up to the rooftop to enjoy the live music and amazing views.

The indoor lounge area is cozy and inviting, but the real highlight is the open-air terrace with plenty of seating, including classic high bar tables and stools. We were especially impressed that the terrace is equipped with heaters for colder nights, which made enjoying the views even more comfortable.

One of the standout features of this rooftop bar is the live music. From Wednesday to Sunday, bands, solo artists, and DJs perform everything from Chicago Blues to Sunset Reggae, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere. We enjoyed sipping on well-made signature cocktails while enjoying the tunes and the stunning views.

The menu offers a nice selection of bites, burgers, pizza and mains, so we were able to enjoy a delicious meal alongside our drinks. We appreciate that there were plenty of options for everyone in our group, no matter their dietary restrictions.
