The Parasol Swing & Company is a stunning rooftop cocktail bar and late night eatery nestled in the heart of Auckland’s bustling Viaduct. My friends and I recently visited this gem of a place and we were all blown away by the incredible atmosphere, food, and drinks on offer.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly staff and shown to the rooftop terrace, where we were treated to breathtaking views of the harbour. The sun-drenched terrace was the perfect spot to enjoy a long lunch in the sun or some after-work drinks with a view. The atmosphere was stylish yet relaxed, making it the ideal place to unwind with friends.

The rooftop menu was a feast for the senses, with an impressive selection of drinks that ranged from bespoke house made cocktails made with locally sourced ingredients, to carefully sourced boutique wines and some of New Zealand’s best craft beer. We all indulged in the delicious drinks, but made sure to sample some of the American-style goodies on offer too. The burgers, tacos, salads and plates perfect for sharing were all outstanding, and kept us going throughout the night.

The live DJs and music every weekend added to the vibrant atmosphere and made for a fun late-night experience. The opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays are from 12.00 – 03.00, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the impressive selection of drinks and food on offer.
