During my last holiday trip to Sydney with some of my best friends, we had the pleasure of visiting The Bristol Arms, a classic local pub with a twist. The highlight of this multi-level venue is, without a doubt, the Bristol Rooftop up top. The rooftop terrace is simply amazing, offering cool views of the central parts of the city and also even a glimpse of the water.

The Bristol Arms is quite spacious, with both public bar and dining spaces indoors on the lower levels. The modern pub classic’s we tasted were delicious, and we enjoyed watching sports while we sipped our drinks. Up on the rooftop, we savored a burger and a large drink menu ranging from beers and wines to cocktails.

The rooftop with two terraces is quite simple in decor, with mainly regular bar stools and tables. It is a great Sydney rooftop to visit during weekdays for a central, laid-back and relaxing al-fresco drink. We also had the opportunity to visit during the weekend, and on Thursday-Saturday, the Bristol Rooftop gets a lot more vibrant, with live DJs turning up the atmosphere. We danced the night away while we enjoyed our drinks and the beautiful view of Sydney.

My friends and I recommend The Bristol Arms for anyone looking for a sophisticated yet casual place to hang out with friends. If you’re in the mood for a lively party, then the Bristol Rooftop is the perfect place to be on the weekends.
