My girlfriends and I had an unforgettable visit to the swanky RoofTop at Exchange Place, and it was the perfect spot for our weekend night out. The multi-level indoor/outdoor cocktail destination boasts stunning and unobstructed views over the NYC skyline, and being perched on the 13th floor of the Hyatt House Jersey City, the location was impeccable.
We were impressed by the retractable glass roof and walls of the RoofTop, which make it a year-round destination for lounging, dining, and sipping on some delicious cocktails. The vibe was chic and trendy, with trendy lounge furniture and a large fire pit on the outdoor deck – perfect for snapping some Instagram-worthy photos. The Terrace was a pleasant surprise, as it was one floor below and offered an indoor cocktail lounge with a chic ambiance, a self-playing piano, and sometimes live entertainment. We enjoyed the views from both venues, including the Manhattan skyline, Hudson River, Staten Island, and beyond.
The opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 16.00 – 02.00 were perfect for our night out, and we found the staff to be extremely attentive and friendly. We left with recommendations for our next visit – we can’t wait to try the weekend nights out with live DJs and sample more of the locally inspired fare. Overall, the RoofTop at Exchange Place is a must-visit destination that will leave you feeling like the ultimate bougie babe.
