My sister and I had the pleasure of visiting Vista Restaurant’s rooftop bar during our visit to Buena Vista, and we were blown away! From the moment we arrived at the Upper Buena Vista retail complex, we knew we were in for something special. The lush setting of the rooftop terrace was unlike anything we had experienced before. It had a wonderful mix of industrial-chic and rustic Italian vibes, which made for a very unique atmosphere.
As we perused the menu, we were pleased to see that there were plenty of farm-to-table dishes with Italian influences, which was right up our alley. My sister ordered the carbonara, and she was quick to compliment the chef’s ability to perfectly execute this classic dish. I, on the other hand, opted for the prosciutto pizza, which was equally delicious. We both agreed that the food was some of the best we’ve had in Miami.
Of course, we couldn’t visit Vista without experiencing the rooftop bar. We made sure to arrive before dinner service to enjoy some of their seasonal cocktails and house favorites. My sister tried the Aperol spritz, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced. I opted for the negroni, which was expertly crafted and hit all the right notes. We both agreed that the live music added a wonderful touch to our evening.
All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Vista Restaurant’s rooftop bar. We highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a chic, cosy, and friendly atmosphere with amazing food and drinks. The cool views over the Buena Vista rooftops and its iconic ancient oak tree were definitely one of the highlights of our visit. We can’t wait to return!
