My sister and I visited The Crown rooftop bar during our trip to New York City and it was absolutely fantastic. Set on top of the glamorous Hotel 50 Bowery, the bar offers two outdoor terraces that provide breathtaking 360-degree views of the city skyline. We were able to see iconic sights like the Brooklyn Bridge, Empire State Building and One World Trade Center, making for an unforgettable experience.
The Crown’s decor is modern, bright, and fun, with comfy lounge sofas and chairs that make for a relaxing atmosphere. My sister loved the floor-to-ceiling windows that lead out to the outdoor terraces, providing an unobstructed view of the city. The bar also offers a nice selection of well-crafted signature cocktails, including the refreshing ‘Mint To Be Majestic’, which was a personal favorite of mine. The variety of international bar bites and desserts they offer are perfect for sharing and complement the drinks nicely.
We appreciated the fact that The Crown is open daily and offer different vibes depending on the time of day. We visited early afternoon for a more relaxed lounge-vibe, sipping on our cocktails and taking in the majestic views. Later in the day, the atmosphere turns more vibrant (and more full), with a trendy crowd enjoying nice beats and drinks. The opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays are from 14.00 – 02.00, so keep that in mind when planning your visit.
Overall, I strongly recommend The Crown rooftop bar to anyone visiting New York City. It’s a perfect place to spend a few hours with friends or a significant other, taking in the stunning views and enjoying some delicious drinks and bites. The rooftop bar definitely exceeded our expectations and was a highlight of our trip. We can’t wait to go back again!
