The Botanik Rooftop Bistro & Bar is a contemporary and sophisticated venue located on the 8th floor of the luxurious Fairway Colombo hotel. Nestled in the bustling Colombo Fort, this rooftop bar and restaurant features both indoor and outdoor areas, allowing guests to enjoy unparalleled panoramic views of the city.

My date and I were absolutely taken aback by the lush and cozy open-air terrace, which felt like a spacious and tranquil roof garden. The long bar counter was bustling with patrons eagerly watching their cocktails being crafted by the skillful bartenders.

The cocktails served at Botanik Bistro & Rooftop Bar were absolutely mouth-watering and elegantly presented, perfectly complementing the fantastic view of the city’s skyline. While we were disappointed that we couldn’t catch a glimpse of the ocean, the majestic Twin Towers served as a mighty backdrop.

We were fortunate enough to time our visit to coincide with a stunning sunset, which was an unforgettable experience that provided us with some amazing photo opportunities. In addition to the fantastic cocktails, we were impressed with the selection of vintage wines and healthy detox juices.

To top it all off, the Michelin-starred Chef Rishi Naleendra created a fresh and seasonal bistro menu with a global twist, which was both delicious and satisfying. The rooftop bar had a laid-back and relaxed atmosphere, further enhanced by the in-house DJs playing custom mix tapes.

The Botanik Rooftop Bistro & Bar is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy great food, drinks, and views in a chill and sophisticated ambience.
