My best friends and I recently visited this lovely spot, and we were blown away by the dual levels of German food, beverage, and entertainment. As soon as we arrived, we felt the warm and welcoming atmosphere, which is what “Gemütlichkeit Happens” is all about.
The restaurant has been around since 2001 and has continually expanded, with the completion of the 2020 Project Hollerblock adding a second-floor rooftop biergarten, which can seat up to 665 people. The rooftop terrace is spacious and beautifully wooden decked, with bistro-style seating that provides a classic rooftop beer garden vibe. The views of the downtown Sanford rooftops from here are truly charming.
The menu at Hollerbach’s is an authentic German food, beverage, and entertainment experience. It is a foodie’s paradise, with everything from Flammkuchen, Schnitzel, and Sausages to a vast selection of draft beers, wine, schnaps, and haus cocktails. The food is delicious, and the drinks are excellent. We particularly enjoyed the haus cocktails and schnaps!
The service at Hollerbach’s is exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making our experience even better. We enjoyed the live Jazz Nights, which added a vibrant touch to the overall ambiance of the place.
Hollerbach’s restaurant is open daily from lunch to late dinner, while the rooftop biergarten is a weekend hot-spot open from 5 pm Thursday & Friday and from 11 am Saturday & Sunday.
