My sister and I decided to spend a sunny afternoon at The Fox & Feather Pub and Grill on Elgin Street in Centretown of Ottawa. The pub is three floors high, with seating for a whopping 350 people, but the real star of the show is the rooftop terrace which can accommodate up to 100 guests.

As soon as we arrived, we were impressed by the classic ‘pubish’ decoration, which gives the place a cozy and familiar feel. But the real highlight was the rooftop bar! The sun was shining, and we had a perfect view of the bustling streets below us. It was the perfect spot to catch some fresh air while sipping on a drink.

Speaking of drinks, The Fox & Feather Pub and Grill has an impressive selection of 34 beers on tap, wines, single malt scotches, homemade sangria, and the Fox martinis and cocktails. My sister and I tried a few different drinks, and we were not disappointed. The menu also features upscale bar food, with the main feature being the 10 oz. Rib Eye steak. We didn’t try any of the food, but it all looked delicious.

The atmosphere at The Fox & Feather Pub and Grill was always relaxed, fun, and festive. We loved the fact that it was open until late at night, which makes it a great spot for a quick drink after work, a casual lunch in the sun, weekend brunch, or maybe to check out a game on one of the large TV screens. We also appreciated the fact that the opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays are from null, perfect for a night out with friends.
