My date and I recently visited Sky View Doha at the luxurious La Cigale Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience. The rooftop bar is spacious, elegant and vibrant, with breathtaking views of the Doha skyline that are hard to beat. It’s easy to see why this place has quickly become one of the hottest nightspots among the rooftop bars Doha has to offer.
The two-level indoor lounge is equipped with a large bar in the middle, and from there, majestic arches lead out to the open air and balcony-like terrace, where we enjoyed comfortable lounge seating. The menu of bites and selection of sushi were delicious and paired perfectly with our ‘Sky Cocktails’. We were impressed by the sophisticated ambiance and excellent service.
We visited during the happy hour period between 5-9pm, which was a perfect time to chill and enjoy the fabulous views. However, we also noted that Sky View can be quite vibrant during other times, with live DJs and live bands taking the stage, and lots of themed nights.
Before visiting Sky View, we made sure to dress in smart casual attire, as shorts are not allowed for gentlemen. We also made sure to make reservations beforehand, especially for seats on the terrace, which are highly recommended. It’s worth noting that during the hot Doha summer, the terrace might be closed, and indoor fun is the only option.
Overall, Sky View Doha is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy a sophisticated and unforgettable experience. It’s an excellent place for a romantic date or a night out with friends. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back!
