During our recent holiday trip, my friends and I had the pleasure of staying at the Alexandra Hotel Malta. Located in the heart of St. Julian’s, this hotel boasts a 7th floor rooftop bar with a large luxury swimming pool and sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea. We were blown away by the amazing views of both the city and the turquoise blue Mediterranean Sea in the horizon.

The rooftop pool is free for guests staying at the hotel, and outside guests can pay a fee of €20-25 (depending on day) and get full access to some rooftop swimming. It was the perfect place for a relaxing day, and to make the day even better, you can order something fresh to eat and drink from the adjacent rooftop bar. The bar serves lunch and nice cocktails, and even has BBQ evenings from time to time. We absolutely loved the casual atmosphere and the delicious bar bites.

Although the decor and setting are quite simple, the two great features at this Malta rooftop bar are the pool and the panoramic views. It’s no wonder that many people come here to enjoy a drink and a dip while taking in the beautiful views that the rooftop bar has to offer.

One of my friends particularly loved the proximity to both the ocean and the city. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and exploration. Another friend recommended the rooftop pool for smaller events. It would be the perfect spot for a private pool party with friends or a romantic evening under the stars.

Overall, the Alexandra Hotel Malta rooftop bar exceeded our expectations. With its breathtaking views, delicious food and drinks, and relaxing atmosphere, we will definitely be coming back for more.
