My best friends and I had the pleasure of visiting Ateljee Bar, located on the 14th floor of the grand and classic Solo Sokos Hotel Torni Helsinki, right in the heart of the city. The view from the rooftop bar is simply breathtaking, offering panoramic views over the entire city, the port, and the Baltic Sea. We were in awe of the stunning skyline and couldn’t help but take plenty of pictures to capture the moment.

To get to the rooftop bar, we took the elevator all the way up and then climbed a beautiful spiral staircase in cast iron to get to the very top. The decor of the bar is quite simple, but the main feature to look at (apart from the view) are the works of young artists hanging on the walls.

We were impressed by the selection of wine, bubbles, and beers on offer at Ateljee Bar, and couldn’t resist trying their famous iced Mojitos. The cocktails were expertly crafted and complemented the stunning views perfectly. The bar is a bit on the pricey side, but we all agreed that the views alone make it worth it. It’s a fantastic spot to grab a cocktail after a long day out on the town or before heading out to dinner.

My friend Sarah commented that “this is undoubtedly the best rooftop bar Helsinki has to offer.” We all agreed and were blown away by the experience. The bar is open year-round, with both indoor lounge and rooftop terrace seating available.
