During our recent holiday trip to Dublin, my friends and I had the pleasure of visiting the Vintage Cocktail Club. Tucked away in the buzzy Temple Bar area, this 1920s chic cocktail bar was a true hidden gem. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a discreet black door with a small sign reading ‘VCC’. As we rang the bell, we couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for what lay ahead.

Upon entering, we were immediately transported to a calm and cosy oasis, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city outside. The decor was incredibly cool and chic, with a speakeasy-style theme that was executed to perfection. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, and we knew right away that we were in for a great evening.

While the food menu of fresh and modern pub fare was tempting, we knew that the real star of the show was the cocktail menu. Divided into eras ranging from the early 1400s to the 1940s, the impressive menu featured everything from classic cocktails to VCC signatures. Each drink was crafted to perfection, and we were blown away by the creativity and attention to detail that went into each one.

Of course, we couldn’t leave without visiting the rooftop terrace, which was simply stunning. While it may not offer panoramic views, the cosy and intimate atmosphere more than made up for it. We found ourselves completely enamoured with the Vintage Cocktail Club, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable night out.

It’s worth noting that VCC is a strictly over-23s venue, but this only added to the sophisticated and grown-up vibe of the place. Overall, we couldn’t recommend the Vintage Cocktail Club enough. From the incredible cocktails to the chic atmosphere, this hidden gem is not to be missed.
