First things first, the views are out of this world. We were surrounded by fine views over downtown Austin, and it was simply breathtaking. The indoor seating mixed with the lush, open-air terrace that is connected to the hotel’s lovely rooftop pool made for the perfect atmosphere. While the pool is exclusive to hotel guests, La Piscina is open daily to all for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch, which is amazing news for locals and visitors alike!
The food is Texas-inspired Mexican cuisine, with a menu that is filled with delicious options like family-style platters, ceviches, and table-top sizzling fajitas, to fresh seafood grilled over a wood fire. My personal favorite was the sizzling fajitas, which were cooked to perfection! The food was complemented with a nice selection of frozen margaritas, signature cocktails, native Mexican spirits, small-batch tequila & mezcal, Mexican brews, and refreshing wines.
But the best part? The friendly and attentive staff that made our experience truly unforgettable. They went out of their way to ensure that our visit was nothing short of amazing, and we left feeling like royalty.
If you’re looking for a place to relax over the weekend, La Piscina is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 11.00 – 22.00, and I highly recommend it. This rooftop bar is the perfect spot to chill with your buddies over some drinks and delicious food while basking in the stunning views of Austin.
