Occupying the 32nd and 33rd floor of the five-star Hyatt on the Bund, it provides unique and absolutely amazing views of both the ultra-modern Pudong skyline as well as the historic buildings on the Bund side. The interior design is truly impressive, with large and comfy daybeds and a rooftop marble jacuzzi, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy grand views.

We were delighted by the wide selection of wines, champagnes, beers, and premium spirits, as well as the real mean cocktails, including the classics, Strawbellini, and the signature VUE Martini. The atmosphere was sophisticated and on top, with live DJs spinning records and a mix of local and foreign visitors.

We particularly enjoyed the open rooftop terrace, and while it was not that big, what it lacked in space was made up for with the decor. The rustic main bar, offering floor-to-ceiling windows, was also very cozy and inviting.

The bar is quite popular, so we recommend making reservations on weekends to secure a place anywhere, and even more so to get a hold of one of the daybeds at the terrace. It’s worth noting that there is a RMB 100 cover charge to get in, but then a drink is also included.
