My best friends and I recently visited SkyBar Kuala Lumpur, and we couldn’t have been more impressed with this stylish and vibrant rooftop destination. As soon as we arrived at the Traders Hotel KL, we were blown away by the magical views of the Twin Towers and the festive atmosphere.
The rooftop bar offers a great range of beer, wines, and spirits, but what really stood out were the signature cocktails. We sampled a few, and they were all well-made and absolutely delicious. For those who are feeling peckish, there is also quite a large food menu, featuring both international and local inspired tapas and some pizzas.
One of our favorite things about SkyBar was the fact that it is open throughout the day, so we were able to enjoy relaxing afternoon cocktails while taking in the stunning views. Later on, as the night went on, the rooftop transformed into a lively nightclub, complete with great music from live DJs.
The terrace is equipped with regular tables and lounge sofas, but we highly recommend trying to snag one of the pillow-filled cabana window seats – they offer the very best view! It’s important to note that reservations are recommended if you want to secure the best spots.
The only downside was that the rooftop was lacking a bit of the open and airy feel that we were expecting, since the roof is only open above the rooftop pool. However, it did mean that we could enjoy the space regardless of the weather!
Overall, we had an incredible time at SkyBar Kuala Lumpur and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a bougie and upscale rooftop bar experience. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and see for yourself – you won’t be disappointed!
