My sister and I had the pleasure of visiting The Deck Bar on top of Pestana Rio Atlântica during our recent trip to Rio de Janeiro. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint!
The multi-level and versatile rooftop offered us magical views over Copacabana and beyond. We were able to take in the absolutely breathtaking views of Copacabana, the sea and the city skyline. It was truly one of the best views we got to experience during our trip, especially during sunset.
The rooftop pool was definitely a highlight for us during the daytime. It was the perfect spot to lounge around and soak up the sun while taking a dip. And after 7pm, The Deck Bar opened up to all and provided us with a perfect haven after a full day among the crowds on Copacabana or for pre-dinner drinks to get the night started.
During the weekdays, the ambience at The Deck Bar was quite chill, which was perfect for us to enjoy a relaxing evening. However, on the weekends, the live DJs and larger crowd from all over the world made the atmosphere more vibrant. It is important to note that there is a R$30 admission charge on weekends, but it is definitely worth it.
The outdoor rooftop bar served us refreshing drinks, from cocktails to beer, and we also tried some of their delicious Brazilian dishes and international bites for the hungry ones. The opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays are from 19.00 – 01.00, so it provided us with the perfect spot to start our night out.
Overall, The Deck Bar on top of Pestana Rio Atlântica is definitely worth a visit. My sister and I had an amazing time and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rio de Janeiro.
