My friends and I recently had the pleasure of visiting the breathtaking Savoy Palace in Funchal, and I must say, we were absolutely blown away by the Galáxia Skybar. This elegant and modern rooftop destination is surrounded by amazing 360° views that will leave you breathless.

We were immediately taken by the cool and futuristic indoor lounge, which offered a unique atmosphere that perfectly complemented the fantastic outdoor terrace. The signature cocktails were out of this world, with galactic references that were both playful and delicious. We couldn’t get enough of the ‘Rocket Man’ and the ‘Space Oddity’, but the classic and sharing cocktails were also top-notch.

For those who prefer non-alcoholic options, the Zero Gravity mocktails were a hit with my group. And for wine enthusiasts, there were both Madeira and Portugal wines on offer, providing a perfect pairing for the dinner experiences at the adjacent rooftop restaurant, Galáxia Skyfood.

Speaking of which, the dinner experiences were truly exceptional, with flavors from all around the globe available as both tasting menus and à la carte. It truly felt like we were dining among the stars.

I would highly recommend stopping by the Galáxia Skybar during happy hour between 18.30 to 19.30, or on Friday and Saturday nights for live DJs and vibes. The atmosphere was elevated and elegant, making it the perfect spot for a fancy night out with friends.
