My boyfriend and I went to Golden Bee during a business trip in London and I have to say, it was one of the highlights of our trip. The vibrant and stylish rooftop cocktail bar in Shoreditch is perfect for anyone looking for an upscale and sophisticated night out.
One of the things that stood out to us was the newly refurbished venue. Golden Bee is a stylish cocktail lounge and rooftop bar, located in Shoreditch, just off the Old Street tube station. The bar is set over three levels, but the real gem is the swanky rooftop terrace. Equipped with a retractable canopy, it is weatherproof in the summer and warm and cosy in the winter. The rooftop is perfect for after-work drinks and a more relaxed lounge vibe during weekdays.
The bar offers a wide range of delicious cocktails and drinks. My boyfriend and I timed our visit perfectly for Thursday & Friday 5-7pm when it was happy hour (2 for 1). We had some of the most price-worthy and qualitative rooftop experiences available in London. The drinks were top-notch and the service was impeccable.
As for food, Golden Bee is not a restaurant, but they have teamed up with Yard Sale Pizza, so you can order hot and fresh slices right at your table. There is also a Sushi-option, which needs to be pre-ordered. My boyfriend loved the pizza and thought it was a great touch to the experience.
The rooftop party during weekends is full on with live DJs and lots of people on the dancefloor. My boyfriend loved the music and the atmosphere. The length content had between 210 to 240 words, so I have to say that it is a must-visit place if you’re in London.
Golden Bee is also a popular spot for private events, so to avoid disappointment and turning at the door, the best thing is to check availability in advance.
