From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a tropical and colourful oasis, with panoramic views of South London and the city skyline. The Bussey Rooftop Bar is not just about drinks, although they do offer a wide selection of beers, ciders, and summer cocktails. We particularly enjoyed the fantastic pizzas from Share A Slice, and the Rooftop Comedy Experience with Plosive. We also had the opportunity to catch a movie at the neighbor Rooftop Cinema Club – a truly unique and memorable experience.
The terrace itself is open and cosy, with lanterns that add an extra touch of summer night ambiance as the sun sets. The flowery canopy, introduced in 2019, makes the rooftop even more lush and beautiful than ever before. Although the summer terrace closes in September, we look forward to the winter pop-up experiences that Bussey Rooftop has to offer.
Finding the rooftop is easy – simply head to the Bussey Building via Bussey Alley from Rye Lane, follow the passage around the side of the building, enter Unit B through the big blue doors, then head up to the rooftop via the stairs or lift.
