My sister and I had the pleasure of visiting Bōkan, and we were amazed by the industrial dockyard sophistication overlooking the London skyline. The Novotel London Canary Wharf boasts a spectacular hideaway on the 37th to the 39th floor, transporting us far from the city buzz of the busy streets below. We were thrilled to indulge in artisanal food & drinks, with each floor offering a different setting.

The Bokan 37 Restaurant on the 37th floor is a stylish indoor restaurant that served us award-winning European cuisine made using the finest British produce. The food was exquisite, and we were blown away by the excellent service. However, the highlight of our visit was the Bars on the 38th|39th floor. We enjoyed the grand views from the 38th floor, but we were mesmerized by the 39th floor’s open-air rooftop terrace.

The rooftop terrace was decorated with stylish lounge furnishings and rooftop daybeds, making us feel like royalty. We were fascinated by the specialist gin bar and the wide range of cocktails made by a talented team of London’s top mixologists. Moreover, the extensive list of wines and Sunday jazz sessions added to our experience.

Although we were able to make reservations for the 37th and 38th floors of Bokan, we had to walk in to access the top floor rooftop bar. However, it was worth the wait as we enjoyed the sheltered area, making it fit for all weathers. The opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays are from 12.00 – 00.00, and its address is 40 Marsh Wall, Isle of Dogs, London E14 9TP.
