Noobai, the casual rooftop bar and restaurant in the trendy Santa Catarina, is a hidden gem in the heart of Lisbon. As we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves in an extension of the hillside Santa Catarina Viewpoint. This floating rooftop bar sits on top of one of the buildings on the streets below, providing us with stunning panoramic views over the old town houses, Tagus River, the harbor, and the 25th April Bridge.

The venue comprises an indoor dining room and no less than three terraces, all equipped for both winter and summer. We enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere of this rooftop, which doubles as a café, a tea house, a restaurant, and a comfy living room just to relax. The perfect spot to soak up the sun and the views with relaxing drinks and bites.

We were impressed with the variety of tapas, sandwiches, salads, and Mediterranean dishes on offer, all beautifully presented and delicious. The cocktails, sangrias, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages were also top-notch. The service was friendly and attentive, and we felt very well taken care of throughout our visit.

One of my friends, who’s a bit of a foodie, commented that the dishes were prepared with great attention to detail and were bursting with flavor. Another friend, who’s quite the cocktail connoisseur, praised the signature drinks and the way they were presented.

We went on a Saturday night, and the chill-out dinner with nice music and the same fantastic views was the highlight of our trip. The opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays are from 10.00 – 00.00, making it the ideal spot to spend a long evening in good company.

All in all, Noobai exceeded our expectations and we cannot recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy great food, drinks, and views with your friends, Noobai is the place to be.
