My Tinder date and I had an unforgettable evening at the Azimuth Rooftop Bar, located on the 8th floor of the exquisite boutique hotel Almanac Barcelona. The views from this stylish rooftop lounge and restaurant are simply breathtaking. We couldn’t believe how close we were to Plaza Catalunya – it truly gave us a sense of being in the heart of the city.

The indoor lounge is bright and modern, with panoramic windows that lead out to a spacious terrace. We lounged on the red and white sofas surrounded by greenery, enjoying the low-key atmosphere of this urban oasis. The highlight of our evening, however, was definitely the rooftop pool. We didn’t want to leave! It was exclusive to hotel guests but we were able to enjoy the panoramic views over Barcelona at the bar and terrace.

The cocktail menu was incredibly inventive and crafted with care, taking us on a journey around the globe. We also enjoyed the tapas-style dishes, served both from ‘The Green Side’ and ‘The Classic Side’ menus. The selection of wine and beer was also impressive.

On weekend nights, the Azimuth Rooftop Bar becomes more buzzing with live DJs creating the perfect soundtrack. The heat lamps on the al fresco terrace made it possible for us to enjoy this elevated Barcelona summer fun year-round. The opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays are from 12.30 – 00.30.
