There are rooftop bars, and then there is Barcelo Raval. I took my Tinder date here and was blown away by the unique city experience on top of this oval hotel. The 360° Terrace is exactly as it sounds, offering marvellous panoramic views over Barcelona. The terrace wraps all the way around the building, providing us with a breathtaking sight at every turn. We even used the available binoculars to get a closer look at the city and its surroundings.

Not only is the view amazing, but the bar itself is also great. We enjoyed classic cocktails, wine, beer, and some tapas from the B-Lounge Restaurant inside the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to find a small plunge pool on the terrace, which gave us that refreshing feeling on a hot summer day. To top it off, live DJs were there every Thursday to Saturday, creating a lively atmosphere.

The location of Barcelo Raval rooftop is perfect, as it is close to both La Rambla and the beach. Even in winter, when the rooftop bar may be closed, drinks can still be purchased downstairs and brought up to the terrace. I recommend booking a stay at the 4-star Barceló Raval if you’re looking for a cool design experience in Barcelona.
