What to wear for Grand Hotel Capodimonte in Sorrento? Dress Code for men and women

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of visiting the Grand Hotel Capodimonte during a recent business trip to Sorrento. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the luxurious and stylish atmosphere of this lovely hotel with its several rooftop venues.

The standout feature of this hotel is undoubtedly the huge and luxurious terrace pool area with 5 waterfall pools. As guests of the hotel, we were able to enjoy this slice of rooftop heaven to the fullest. The rooftop pool area provided a perfect opportunity for us to relax and unwind after a long day of meetings.

Aside from the pool area, the hotel’s rooftop restaurants and bar were also top-notch. We had the opportunity to dine at Le Ginestre, the main rooftop restaurant, where we tried a wide range of typical dishes from the most renowned Neapolitan tradition, as well as a selection of international cuisine. The staff even prepared a typical Sorrento Soirée with local dishes and a Gala Soirée on the terrace of the restaurant called Le Querce.

My boyfriend was particularly impressed by the rooftop bar, Gli Ulivi, where we indulged in premium cocktails and apertifs made by professional barmen while taking in the beautiful view of the sea and surrounding landscape. The picturesque rooftop restaurant Bouganvillea was also a highlight, offering specialities from the grill in a romantic and beautiful setting. The Gulf of Naples in front of our eyes and the olive trees hanging over our heads made this a perfect rooftop restaurant for a charming meal.

Dress to Impress at Sorrento’s Grand Hotel Capodimonte’s Rooftop Paradise

As a fashion expert, I highly recommend dressing to impress at Sorrento’s Grand Hotel Capodimonte’s rooftop paradise. With a dress code requirement for all rooftop venues, it’s the perfect opportunity to show off your sophisticated and luxurious style.

For women, I suggest wearing a flowy sundress or a chic jumpsuit paired with strappy sandals or wedges. Accessorize with a statement necklace or earrings, and don’t forget a stylish clutch to hold all your essentials.

For men, a crisp button-down shirt paired with tailored trousers or chinos and loafers will perfectly complement the upscale atmosphere. Add a sleek watch and a belt to complete the look.

When dining at Le Ginestre or Bouganvillea, opt for a dressier outfit such as a cocktail dress or a sharp suit. For footwear, choose elegant heels for women or polished dress shoes for men. Finish off the look with a statement piece of jewelry or a sleek tie.

At the rooftop bar, Gli Ulivi, keep it casual yet chic with a breezy maxi dress or a trendy romper paired with comfortable yet stylish wedges or sandals. Add a pop of color with a fun clutch or oversized sunglasses.

As for brands to consider, I recommend checking out designer labels such as Michael Kors, Ted Baker, and Kate Spade for women, and Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, and Tommy Hilfiger for men.
