State of Grace is one of the most enjoyable and diverse places in Melbourne that I have ever been to, and I had the pleasure of experiencing it with my besties! The three-story building is a mix of old-world charm and contemporary flair, featuring a street-level restaurant, a hidden cellar bar called Fall From Grace, and an elevated rooftop bar. I must say, the rooftop bar was the highlight of our visit!
The rooftop terrace was more casual than the other levels, but still maintained a sophisticated New York style lounge setting, making it the perfect spot to take in the breathtaking views of the Melbourne city skyline. The drinks menu was varied, ranging from refreshing classic cocktails to the more creative signature cocktails, which were all expertly mixed. There was also a vast selection of brews, and the food menu included both pizzas and plates perfect for sharing.
One of my friends commented that the setting of the rooftop bar was so bougie, yet natural at the same time, which made it an excellent spot for a date night or an after-work drink. Another friend noted how attentive and polite the staff were, which added to the overall upscale ambiance.
