We loved the indoor bar and restaurant, which had beautiful high sharing tables and comfy banquet seating. However, the real highlight of the venue was the outdoor terrace with a fireplace. The views over Queenstown’s rooftops, the surrounding mountains and Lake Wakatipu were breathtaking, and we spent hours taking it all in.

We were spoilt for choice with toppings, from the delicious lamb to the decadent mushroom with truffle. The vegan and weekly specials were also a hit with our group. To complement the pizzas, the rooftop bar offered a range of local New Zealand and international beers on tap, a selection of local wines and bubbles, as well as some cool cocktails.

But Miss Lucy’s isn’t just about the food and drinks. It’s also a great social space to spend a few hours with friends. We loved the vibe of the place, and the friendly service made us feel right at home. We were lucky enough to visit during a weekly event, ‘Beats & Bingo’, which was an absolute blast. There are also ‘Quiz Nights’ and ‘Rooftop Acoustic Jams’ on offer, making it the perfect venue for a fun night out.

If you’re planning a visit, remember that Miss Lucy’s operates on a walk-in policy only, so there’s no need to make a reservation. The dress code is casual, so come as you are and enjoy the very best views over Queenstown.
