The poolside lounge and rooftop bar are both situated on the 4th floor of the luxurious Kimpton Solamar Hotel, and it’s the ideal getaway for anyone looking for a great time.

The moment we arrived, we felt like VIPs! The ambience is chic, and the decor is stylish with cozy fire pits, private cabanas, and inviting lounge sofas. The San Diego rooftop pool is fantastic, and even though it’s mainly for hotel guests, outsiders can book a cabana for a full day of relaxation and lounging under the San Diego sun.

The rooftop bar is a must-visit! It is open to all, and the signature cocktails and cold beers are refreshing, and the all-day bites from Jsix are delicious. My friends and I especially loved the 5-7pm happy hour on Tuesdays to Fridays and the weekend brunch. We enjoyed playing corn hole and shuffleboard while sipping on our cocktails.
