My friends and I recently visited Tchin Tchin Honolulu, and it was an absolute delight! The rooftop bar is located in the heart of Chinatown’s art district, and is a bit of a hidden gem, but well worth the search. The indoor restaurant and bar is urban cool with its exposed brick wall, and opens up to a cosy outdoor terrace. Although the view isn’t panoramic, it’s still very nice, especially as the hanging lanterns create a lovely warm light at night.
The selection of wines is extensive and impressive, and the fact that they’re served by the 2oz taste, 6oz glass or bottle was perfect for us wine-lovers. In addition to the wine, the rooftop bar also serves artisan cocktails, beers and smaller plates, which were all perfectly paired with our wine choices. We especially enjoyed the cheese plates and prosciutto, which were just divine!
My friend Sarah recommended the lobster, which she said was absolutely delicious. I didn’t try it myself, but she raved about it all night! The service was impeccable, and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the wines and helped us choose the perfect ones for our taste.
The rooftop bar is an ideal spot for a night out with friends, with an open-air atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing and catching up. It’s also great for private events, and we’re already planning to reserve it for our next friend’s birthday party.
