The Continental Midtown’s rooftop bar is a true gem amongst the bustling crowds of Rittenhouse Square. My best friends and I were delighted to experience three stories of fun, global cuisine and creative cocktails. The rooftop lounge, which is situated on the upper level, was definitely the highlight of our visit.
The indoor lounge and outdoor rooftop patio have been designed to transport you to a charming 1960’s living room. Whether you choose to sit at the round bar or get cozy by the fire place, the ambiance is truly remarkable. The wooden decked terrace, which is lush with trees in summer and kept warm with heat lamps in winter, is the perfect spot to enjoy your favorite cocktail while gazing over the Philadelphia skyline.
We were blown away by the impressive selection of cocktails that the Continental Midtown had to offer. Our favorite was the Northern Lights, a gin-based cocktail with a retro twist. Of course, there were also classic Martinis, beers, and wines to choose from. We couldn’t help but indulge in the impressive global food menu as well, which ranged from Shrimp Pad Thai to Lobster Mac & Cheese and Chicken Tikka Masala.
While the food was certainly delicious, we found that it was best enjoyed on the lower floors. The rooftop bar was the perfect spot for pre- or post-dinner cocktails with friends. The vibrant lounge ambiance made for a fun and relaxing night out.
The service at The Continental Midtown was top-notch. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and drinks, making recommendations that we were all very pleased with. We appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality that we received.
