My best friends and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Joy District on Hubbard Street in Chicago, and we were blown away by the trendy tri-level venue. The first floor Parlay impressed us with its modern sports parlor, offering elevated bar fare and a high-energy atmosphere. As we ventured up to the second floor Club, we found ourselves in a dance party hotspot with the hottest local DJs, themed parties and even bottle service. But the real highlight was the Roof, the urban and trendy rooftop bar that offered impeccable views of Chicago’s cityscape.

We were enamored by the Joy District rooftop, which was decorated with comfy lounge seating and lush greenery. It was evident that this venue was at its peak during the warmer months, but we were thrilled to find out that it was also available in winter, as it turned into a covered and heated escape. We sipped cocktails and frosé while unwinding from the busy streets below, and even joined in on the fun and happening rooftop parties.

We were ecstatic to learn that starting May 2022, Joy District will be hosting Drag Brunch twice a month, complete with raffles and giveaways. This rooftop venue is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the finer things in life with an added touch of sophistication.

One thing that we must commend Joy District on is their highly customizable private event space. With a series of mezzanines and semi-private rooms, we discovered that we could host anything from late night bachelorette parties and cocktail receptions to corporate events, for anything from 20 to 200 or more guests.

The service was impeccable, and we were treated like royalty from the moment we walked in. The opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays are from 12.00 – 03.00, so we had plenty of time to revel in the Joy District experience.
