The Hurricane Watch Rooftop is an idyllic destination that is perfect for those seeking a relaxing and colorful retreat. Located in St Pete Beach, this rooftop terrace boasts breathtaking 360-degree views of the Don Cesar Beach Resort, Boca Ciega Bay, the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, and the Gulf of Mexico. As we eagerly awaited the sunset, we were not disappointed as it proved to be one of the best in all of Florida. It was truly magical.

During our visit, we dined at the legendary Hurricane Seafood Restaurant that was established in 1977. The restaurant serves great food, with an emphasis on seafood. We were particularly impressed with the Grouper, which was absolutely delicious. The ground floor is more casual and family-friendly, while the second level offers fine dining. The restaurant is open daily from early lunch to late dinner, so we had plenty of opportunities to indulge in the delicious cuisine.

One of the highlights of our visit was the rooftop bar that offered a fun, lively, and friendly atmosphere. Apart from the magical views, the bar also serves great cocktails and tasty bites. We enjoyed our visit during the weekday happy hour between 12pm-6pm and were delighted to experience live entertainment. We also shared a Hurricane Margarita Bucket, which was the perfect accompaniment to the stunning sunset. However, we found out that it gets crowded around sunset hour, so we recommend getting there early to secure the best spot.

Overall, we had an amazing time at the Hurricane Watch Rooftop and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting St Pete Beach.
