The Charlotte Beer Garden, located in the South End of Charlotte, is the perfect spot for those who want to indulge in an extensive selection of draft beers. As soon as my boyfriend and I arrived, we were impressed by the three-story venue, which is both spacious and cozy at the same time.
On the first floor, we found a fantastic selection of local beers, while the second floor was a treat for international beer lovers such as ourselves. However, the rooftop took the cake, as it provided us with the perfect mix of a greenhouse feel and cool city views – a match made in heaven.
Aside from the impressive selection of beers, CBG also had a delicious and healthy food menu to offer. From the beer-battered pretzel and fried pork belly bites to burgers, pizza, and salads, there was something for every craving. On weekends, we were also tempted by their brunch menu.
While we enjoyed exploring all the floors at CBG, the rooftop was the perfect spot for a low-key yet fun outing with our friends. We loved the picnic seating, lawn games, and fire pits that added to the already fantastic ambiance.
My boyfriend was particularly impressed by the music selection, which perfectly complemented the excellent drinks and food. The opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays are from 11.00 – 02.00, making it the ideal spot for both day and night outings. Overall, we would highly recommend CBG to anyone who wants to have a sophisticated yet fun night out with friends, family, or business colleagues.
