If you are looking for a breathtaking rooftop bar with an amazing skyline view, then Bok Bar is a must-visit place. My friends and I had the pleasure of experiencing this seasonal bar during our holiday trip to South Philadelphia, and we were completely blown away.

Located on the top of the former Bok High School building, Bok Bar offers an open-air vibe with stunning vistas over the Philadelphia skyline. We were thrilled to enjoy beer-garden vibes while sipping on local craft brews, wines, and cocktails. The bar bites from different food partners were delicious, and we loved that the menu changed throughout the season.

One thing to note is that the bar is closed for private events on Mondays and Tuesdays, but all other days from April through October are open to the public. The rooftop terrace is spacious and offers plenty of room, but since only a small section is available for reservation on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, we highly recommend arriving early on a sunny afternoon to secure your spot.

If you happen to visit during the colder months, don’t worry. Irwin’s, located on the opposite side of the same floor, is a unique restaurant that serves modern Sicilian fare and natural wines year-round. We had the chance to check it out, and it was a delightful experience. The indoor seating and outdoor terrace were perfect for enjoying the colder weather while staying cozy.
