Welcome to Apogee Lounge, the swanky and sophisticated cocktail lounge that boasts breathtaking rooftop views over downtown Chicago! I recently visited this stunning venue with my best friends and we had an unforgettable experience.

Located at the 26th floor of the fabulous Eurostars Magnificent Mile, Apogee Lounge is the second highest rooftop bar throughout Chicago. We were amazed by the lovely terrace, which offered sleek lounge sofas, a fire pit, and really cool views of the Chicago skyline. The stylish indoor lounge, complete with a long marble bar and floor-to-ceiling windows, was equally impressive. We were delighted to find out that the rooftop used to be called Vertigo Sky Lounge, but had a refurbish and name change in 2016.

The number one feature up here is the cocktails. The amazing creations are served in seashells and giant glass mushrooms, and made to perfection with the very best ingredients. To use the words of Apogee: “cocktails are given the same level of detail as a Michelin star restaurant”. My friends and I can attest to the quality of the cocktails, which actually came at a very decent price. We were also pleased to find out that the rooftop bar is open to the public five days a week, but reservations are highly recommended given its popularity. We came early night to enjoy relaxing and amazing cocktails with skyline views.

As the night wore on, the setting up here was more of a nightclub, with a great vibe and a crowd ready to dance the night away. We had an absolute blast and were impressed by the outstanding service provided by the friendly and attentive staff. The dress code is smart casual, which added to the sophisticated ambiance of the venue.

In summary, Apogee Lounge is a real gem in the heart of Chicago. My friends and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a swanky, trendy, and sophisticated rooftop bar experience. The breathtaking views, amazing cocktails, and outstanding service are truly unparalleled.
